Overview
The PES pleated microfiltration cartridge combines a hydrophilic polyethersulfone membrane with polypropylene support layers, housing, core and end caps. Thermal bonding forms an integrated cartridge without adhesive contamination or media shedding.
Key Benefits
Uniform pore distribution and high porosity support high throughput and dependable fine filtration.
Good acid and alkali resistance across the stated pH range, subject to process compatibility review.
Each cartridge is integrity tested by bubble-point, bubble-pressure and diffusion-flow methods and rinsed with high-purity water before shipment.
Typical Applications
Final filtration of biological fluids, serum, large-volume parenterals and antibiotics in pharmaceutical processes.
Final filtration of beverages and alcoholic drinks.
Final filtration in ultrapure-water systems. Not recommended for ketones, esters, oils, halogenated hydrocarbons or highly concentrated acids.
Selection Information Required
Please provide the process liquid and concentration, required micron rating, target flow, operating temperature, differential pressure, cartridge length, end-cap connection, seal material, sterilization method, integrity-test requirement and applicable pharmaceutical or food standard. Final compatibility and sanitization conditions must be confirmed for the actual process.
